A movement born from urgency
The Institute for Ecowize Innovations is a non-profit organisation incubated by Alan Tratner and Green2Gold dedicated to turning the world's most pressing environmental challenges into opportunities for lasting change.
Our Origins
From Green2Gold to IEI
Green2Gold was founded on a simple but powerful premise: that environmental stewardship and economic opportunity are not opposites they are partners. Over years of grassroots work, it became clear that a dedicated innovation institute was needed to accelerate solutions at scale.
The Institute for Ecowize Innovations was born from that realisation. Led by Alan Tratner, IEI brings together scientists, community leaders, engineers, and advocates to develop and deploy innovations across six critical domains: clean energy, water and air quality, sustainable agriculture, affordable housing, nutrition, and climate resiliency.
We believe that the solutions already exist what's needed is the will, the resources, and the coordination to bring them to the communities that need them most.
